Harvard Medical School encourages the use of Medical Software by incorporating its use in the
Medical Curriculum. Although all HMS Core Courses and certain electives have a website, students
can view a list of medical education software at the MyCourses portal:
http://mycourses.med.harvard.edu.
Additional medical software is available as reference and study aids for students to sign out in
the Student Computing Lab, TMEC 225.
Recommending Computer Software:
Let us know of your request, the course number and title (e.g., IN701.0, The Human Body) for
which you are recommending the software, the instructor's or TF's full name, and your name and contact
phone number. We will contact the appropriate PME faculty member to review any suggested applications
to be used in the medical curriculum.
Student Computing is not responsible for purchasing licensed copies of the medical education software in need.
Please speak with your department regarding this issue.
NOTE: Upon approval, Student Computing must test the requested software ahead of time before
installing it on student computing workstations for curriculum use.
