Student Computing provides support only for the web-based client, Outlook Web Access (OWA). Students using other email clients can read the online documentation at Configuring Desktop Email Clients. Educational Computing assumes that students who live off-campus have an Internet Service Provider to access the World Wide Web.

Anti-Virus clients are required on students' personal computers. Please make sure that you set the preferences such that the anti-virus client of your choice will download virus definitions on a daily basis.
Free Symantec Corporate AntiVirus™ Edition
HMS provides a single license of Symantec Corporate AntiVirus™ for each
matriculated, registered predoctoral student who owns a Windows-based PC (Vista or XP) or a Macintosh-based PC (OS X).

NOTE: If you are a DMS student, you have the choice of downloading a free copy of Virex at
FAS Computer Services Software Download.
Please note that you must have a FAS username and PIN number to download any of FAS' software.

Free Spybot - Search & Destroy
"Spybot - Search & Destroy can detect and remove spyware of different kinds
