Email

To access your student e-mail account, log-in to OWA with your MyCourses/eCommons username and case-sensitive password. If you would prefer to use a desktop email client, configuration instructions are available in PDF format for desktop clients on both Macintosh and Windows-based PCs. NOTE: Student Computing supports only OWA.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Graduating Students: HMS email account and other MyCourses/eCommons services of students graduating in the Spring 2007 will be deactivated on Tuesday, July 31, 2007. Please save all emails you wish to keep before this date.

Graduating students may set-up a Post.Harvard forwarding e-mail account by registering at the Post Harvard Site. If you need assistance, please read the Post Harvard Help Section. You can email them at haa_alumnihelp@harvard.edu or call 617-496-0559.

Official Student Email Address: As of Fall 2004, HMS and DMS predoctoral students will use the following official student email address: firstname_lastname@hms.harvard.edu. HSDM predoctoral students will use firstname_lastname@hsdm.harvard.edu.

As of 2006, HST students will use firstname_lastname@hst.harvard.edu. For those HST students who arrived before 2006, this email format can be used as an alias.

Those students who have entered medical/dental school or a doctoral program before Fall 2004 will use the following official student email address: firstname_lastname@student.hms.harvard.edu.

Outlook Web Access (OWA)

Outlook Web Access (OWA) is an online webmail system that emulates the look and functionality of Microsoft Outlook accessible through a web browser. For full functionality, be sure to use Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x on a Windows-based platform. OWA works on other browsers and platforms at limited functionality.
