The following software is not endorsed by HMS. They are listed as a convenience to predoctoral students.

• Free Microsoft Security Essentials

Students can download the freeware Microsoft Security Essentials for their Windows-based personal computers.

Macintosh users can download a licensed copy of McAfee by requesting one.

**HST predoctoral students cross-registered at MIT can also download research software at http://ist.mit.edu/services/software/available-software. You will need an MIT personal certificate in order to download. Contact the MIT Support Desk for assistance at http://ist.mit.edu/contact.
