This step-by-step document shows you how to install AvantGo Enterprise software on your home Windows-based Personal Computer (PC) if you have synchronized initially at the TMEC. (Mac users will follow these special instructions.) Please read all of the steps carefully as they are important. If you encounter a problem during installation, please contact the Student Computing Support Desk by filling out an online form.

Note: This document assumes that you have an Internet connection.

Step 1: Connect Your PDA to Your Windows-Based PC

After having installed your PDA Desktop Software onto your PC, connect your cradle cable and PDA device to your PC. (Follow the Palm manufacturer's instructions.)

Step 2: Install AvantGo Enterprise onto Your PC

1. Download AvantGo Client Enterprise v5.3 installer and save it to your desktop.

2. Run the AvantGo Client Enterprise v5.3 installer that you just downloaded by double-clicking AGPalmClientEnterprise.exe. Follow the on-screen instructions.
